FAB FOOD. THE NEW SPACES AND RITUALS
Fab Food: New Spaces & Rituals is a narrative exploring future food trends, experiments, and solutions. Food is our passion, driving our work in connecting people, spaces, and objects. The exhibition concept involved studying cultural, ethical, and sociological aspects before focusing on design as a future strategy.
The linear yet freely navigable exhibition begins with the Labyrinth, showcasing a new urban space quality with edible plants.
The Future Market presents a futuristic supermarket, revealing tomorrow's food and food design innovations.
The Tribes section features three domestic interiors illustrating different food approaches: Green eaters, Future foodies, and Food geeks. The exhibition then explores private and public food consumption spaces. Home depicts the evolving domestic food environment with fluid, less specialized eating areas. The final section, Restaurant, the quintessential culinary and socializing space, presents three trends: convivial Cook & Share, the new formal Slow good and Eat Alone experiences, and the Decor restaurant, featuring a spectacular installation with Richard Ginori.
