Campi Guaineri

Our work for You Sport, association that promote social inclusion through sport, provides a concrete example of how careful architecture can generate tangible value for the community, revitalizing existing public assets.

The project focuses on the comprehensive redevelopment of two outdoor sports facilities, Campi Guaineri - a five-a-side football pitch and a multi-purpose field - located within the Istituto Comprensivo Rinnovata Pizzigoni in Milan.

Our design introduced a new layout for the spaces, including the stands and perimeter elements. The most significant architectural gesture was the new fencing, which rejects the ordinary aesthetic to affirm that places of inclusion merit high-quality design attention. By reintroducing a distinctive identity, we restored two essential public venues to the city where sport, sociality, and community engagement can successfully intersect.
