OTRANTO MASTERPLAN

A coastal regeneration plan for the historical city of Otranto in Apulia, under the artistic direction of Ennio Capasa. Beginning at the tourist port and extending through both the old and new parts of town to the bay's lighthouse, the project introduces a pedestrian walkway that unlocks the entire coastline for public use. Along this path, various functional elements are integrated: a sea-facing amphitheater, a marina, a Mediterranean aquarium (with architecture and design by Ennio Capasa), a research center, and a boutique hotel.
