MILANO DESIGN WEEK: ROBAR FOR RO GUILTLESSPLASTIC
Bar-bistro installation for Rossana Orlandi exhibition
Vudafieri-Saverino Partners has designed the RoBar at Roguiltlessplastic 2021, the exhibition promoted for the Design Week 2021 by Rossana Orlandi in the cloisters of the Museum of Science and Technology with the aim of raising awareness on the reuse and recycling of materials. It hosts the most innovative projects and initiatives on the theme made by international names of architecture and industrial design.
The Robar is a real sustainable bar-installation, of about 100 square meters, managed by the starred chefs Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisani de Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia.
Located inside the cloister Olona, the Robar consists of three counters, made with black panels Finsa - Greenpanel MDF ultralight, dedicated respectively to food, drink and storage. The design of the counters enhances the distinctive features of this sustainable material by highlighting the internal alveolar structure with visible cuts and a game of vertical pilasters.
Eight arches of corrugated black panels define the bar-bistro area and on each of them were selected sentences made of polycarbonate from optical groups and 3D printed by Simone Maccagnan: Save the Waste, Waste is Value, Sustainability, Responsibility, Emotionability, Guiltless plastic.
The tables, each different in color and thickness, were made by 3D Wall Panels Italia and The Good Plastic Company with recycled plastic panels.
