LES TARTES DE FRANÇOISE
Our interior design project for Les Tartes de Françoise renews the ateliers of the Belgian pastry brand born in the 90s. The Namur store captures its essence and its founding elements such as transparency, craftsmanship and hospitality, experimentation and creativity, surrealism and impertinence. Customers can breathe the atmosphere from the entrance door, with the cake-shaped handle, the brown of the windows and the orange of the curtain, all iconic symbols of Les Tarte de Françoise.
The focus becomes the laboratory area visible with a large glazed cold room and ovens. This area is made spectacular by the double height of the space and by a surrealistic installation: decorative cake stands, cloche-shaped lamps, cake-baking trays, raining down from ceiling to head, dramatizing the space. All the design elements - steel, marble, natural wood furnishings and iconic materials of pastry ateliers - harmoniously interact with the warm colors of the architectural space - the sown floor, the walls with textured tiles - expressing the brand DNA.
