HAOCHIBULAN

Fantasia is a restaurant in Qingdao, a chinese coastal city becamen destination of the most important chinese sailing events. Looking at the space as a big ship ready to take the sea, we have created a design that recalls an elegant cruise. The whole restaurant reminds a sailing boat and the different spaces are named after the nautical expression of these functions, starting from the three main areas: "All on board ", the entrance and kids area, "the Deck", the main space, and the "Captain's cabin", the VIP lounge. 

Walking through the sea waved garden, the customers approach the All-on-board area, defined by the elegant wooden bar. The main dining area, the Deck, is characterized by the double height and the sailing system on the ceiling to create a real sailing experience. In the Captain’s cabin, reachable from a hidden private entrance, the guests are welcomed by the round glass partition, interrupted by the glossy tiles on the front wall behind the main table seat.
