MOBILE HOME

2013

The mobile home concept explores the possibilities of creating a compact and versatile space, ranging from 20 to 40 sqm in size, that can be easily transported and adapted to various environments.

The project explored different aggregation types, spatial configurations, and construction methods that consider both functionality and environmental impact. The choice of materials and construction techniques is crucial for achieving a sustainable and durable mobile home.

The project also explored three typologies of mobile homes, inspired by natural elements: the Air House, the Garden Cabin, the Boat House.

In addition to the main living space, the project considered various adjunct components that could enhance the functionality and livability of the mobile home like terraces, stairs and ramps, platforms, walls, and canopies.

The overall goal of this research is to develop innovative and adaptable mobile home solutions that offer comfortable and sustainable living experiences in various settings. By combining morphological studies, typological variations, and careful consideration of adjunct components and materials, we aim to create mobile homes that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible.
