Project Manager with Interior Design background

For our chinese office we are seeking a proactive, collaborative, and passionate Project Manager with Interior Design background. The ideal candidate is a propositive person, team worker, passionate, open minded, with good communication skills. Project Manager/Interior Designer's primary job will be to manage key client projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within work scope. We require a great multi-tasker with an eye for the details who works well under pressure and never misses a deadline. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 7-8 years’ experience in retail projects. 
• A track record for successfully delivering projects that involve a high degree of change and complexity. • Experience managing projects from conceptualization to completion. 
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin (English is a Must). 
• Ability to work collaboratively with team, as well as with third parties such as landlords, contractors and suppliers. 
• Strong ability in managing fees, schedules and staffing. 

SKILLS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status. 
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. 
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. 
• Ability to understand details and to produce drawings, when required, at every level of scale and detail. 
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, as well with third parties/vendors. 
• Adapt plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction. 
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. 
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes.Travel regularly to building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings. 
• MEP and FA codes knowledge for China Mainland. 
• Ability to use software as AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite.
